Sunrise 2027 · United Kingdom

Your packs. Your codes. Your country's infrastructure.

A third of GS1 UK's 60,000 members plan 2D-barcode implementation within 12 months [GS1 UK] — and nearly every QR platform they'll evaluate is hosted in the US or Germany. xengo is the UK-sovereign option: built, run and hosted in the United Kingdom.

Map of the UK and Western Europe with xengo's London infrastructure marked London · AWS eu-west-2

One printed 2D barcode, scanned anywhere in the world — resolved by infrastructure that lives entirely in the United Kingdom. The scan, the redirect and the analytics never leave UK soil.

Data lives in London

The entire platform runs in AWS eu-west-2 — redirects, analytics, backups. Scan enrichment happens offline on our servers: a shopper's IP never leaves for a third-party lookup. The full posture →

A UK company, English law

xengo is Synvu Limited (UK company no. 15761962, London). One jurisdiction for your contract, your DPA and your data — a shorter conversation with procurement and your DPO.

Sovereignty without lock-in

Codes live on your domain, so the printed pack points at infrastructure you name — and our continuity promise guarantees codes are never deleted and never carry injected ads.

Frequently asked questions

Where does xengo hold scan data?

Entirely in AWS eu-west-2 (London) — the application, the redirect plane, analytics and backups. Scan enrichment (location, device) runs offline on our own servers, so a shopper's IP address is never sent to a third-party service. Details on our trust page.

Who is behind xengo?

Synvu Limited, a UK-registered company (no. 15761962), London. Your contract is with a UK entity under English law — relevant for procurement teams who'd rather not paper a US or EU data relationship for something printed on every pack.

Most QR platforms are US or German-hosted — does it actually matter?

For many brands, no. For UK retail groups, public-sector suppliers and anyone whose DPO asks 'where does the scan telemetry go?', a UK-hosted, UK-owned answer shortens the conversation considerably. We publish the full posture — including what we're not yet certified for — on the trust page.

Is xengo a GS1 UK partner?

We're not currently a GS1 UK solution partner — we provide the dynamic QR and event infrastructure brands run behind their codes. If you're a GS1 UK member working through Sunrise 2027, talk to us about your pilot.
